What are Gel Nails?
Gel Nails
are an extremely
natural-looking enhancement: thin, clear, flexible, non-yellowing,
nonporous, resist lifting. Gel Nails can be used for natural nail
overlays, tip overlays, and sculpted onto forms for short extensions,
and to help encapsulate a damaged free-edge as it grows out.
What are Acrylics Nails?
Acrylics Nails
are currently more popular than gel nails, but they have been around
longer so that makes sense. Acrylics can be whole or partial, used over
the entire nail or simply as tips. A mixture of liquid acrylic (monomer)
and polymer, which is an acrylic powder, is applied to the nail. It
hardens on its own fairly quickly, usually within minutes.
What is Color Gel?
Color gel is pigmented gel with permanent color results. The shine and
durability last until it is filed off. No drying time! Reach for keys,
even dig for them.
